TAPROOM SUPPORT & RUNNER – HAMILTON
Location: Third Eye Brewing Company – Hamilton Ohio
Reports to: General Manager
Status: Part-Time
At Third Eye, the Taproom Support role is the backbone of our hospitality operations. This is a dynamic, physically active position that supports the entire taproom team by seamlessly transitioning between bar backing, food running, bussing, and dishwashing based on the needs of the shift. You will ensure smooth service, maintain cleanliness, and step in wherever necessary to deliver an exceptional guest experience during our highest volume hours.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Anticipate the needs of the taproom by transitioning smoothly between support roles (barback, food runner, busser, and dishwasher) as volume dictates.
- Keep the bar, taproom, and patio areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Wash, restock, and rotate clean glassware consistently throughout the shift.
- Replace and organize kegs as needed, and keep ice bins, bar tools, and garnishes fully stocked for bartenders.
- Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maximize seating turnover.
- Wash, restock, and rotate clean dishes consistently throughout the shift.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
- Support bartenders and management in maintaining a seamless and efficient guest experience.
- Assist with general taproom cleaning, including restrooms, floors, and exterior areas.
- Help set up, restock, and break down for special events or large parties.
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by management to ensure a successful shift.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous bar, restaurant, or brewery experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn multiple operational roles.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
- Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Constantly: Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces; remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods; moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another; communicating with others to exchange information; repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers; assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Occasionally: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps and the like; light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds; medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds; heavy work that includes lifting and maneuvering up to 150 pounds (kegs).

LINE COOK – HAMILTON
Location: Third Eye Brewing Company – Hamilton Ohio
Reports to: General Manager
Status: Part-Time

You are responsible for executing every dish with precision, consistency, and pride. You bring focus, energy, and craftsmanship to every shift, ensuring that every plate leaving the kitchen reflects the Third Eye standard of quality.

- You are a student of the craft — you know our menu, our recipes, quality standards, and you bring the same level of care to the hundredth plate as you did to the first.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and execute all menu items accurately and consistently according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain your station in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition throughout the entire shift.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with fellow line cooks, the expeditor, and management to ensure synchronized ticket times and seamless service execution.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols at all times, maintaining health inspection readiness on every shift.
- Assist with prep work including cutting, portioning, marinating, and organizing mise en place before and during service.
- Monitor product quality and freshness, communicating any concerns to the General Manager immediately.
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and properly storing food deliveries in accordance with FIFO standards.
- Contribute to opening and closing duties including station setup, breakdown, and end of shift cleaning.
- Adapt quickly to menu changes, specials, and high-volume periods with a positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Support the kitchen team during special events, seasonal releases, and large party service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure a successful shift.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant, brewery, or hospitality establishment preferred.
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to recipe adherence and portion accuracy.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for the culinary craft.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. English is the primary language of operation and is required for this role. Proficiency in additional languages is welcomed and considered a plus.
